9/10 ESG Professionals: Reporting & Data Boost Competitiveness

90% of ESG professionals believe that ESG reporting a data gives their organisation a competitive advantage, according to a recent study by Workiva.

Other opportunities created for organisations as a result of enhancing ESG disclosures include:

• Increased transparency
• Improved decision making
• Increased brand awareness/reputation
• Increased investor trust and confidence
• Improved employee recruitment and retention.

Of those surveyed, 95% also believed technology will be critical to successfully managing the ESG reporting process, with 19% concerned that they didn't currently have the correct technology in place.
