Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

Conducting a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) enables organisations to identify the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions associated with a product or service, leading to a greater understanding of their impact on the environment. This can be especially helpful in calculating more accurate Scope 3 emissions data.

Similar to understanding the nutrition content of foods and beverages, consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental impact of the products and services they purchase and use.

We can work with you to understand the climate impact of your goods and services, and provide guidance on how to reduce and offset the emission output.

Cradle to Grave Analysis

Cradle to Grave Analysis

The cradle to grave methodology of an LCA assesses the emissions of a product from the extraction of the raw material (cradle), through the manufacturing and distribution stages, to the final disposal and recycling phase (grave), and how this is achieved. This end-to-end process results in a final GHG impact figure and provides a clear insight into the sustainability of the product.

PAS2060

PAS2060

Offered as an addition to include within your LCA, PAS2060 is an internationally recognised standard that demonstrates the Carbon Neutral status of a product against the following criteria:

  • Assessment
  • Reduction
  • Offsetting
  • Verification

Carbon Neutral Certification

Carbon Neutral Certification

Once the emissions output from your product or service has been assessed and offset, we can provide a THG Eco Carbon Neutral Certification.

The certification roundel can then be included within your product marketing, advertisements, and product packaging. In addition, we will continue to work closely with you to ensure you maintain a sufficient balance of carbon credits for your product neutrality.
